Q: Has the GPS system been improved on the Horizon XP?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP includes upgraded GPS hardware and improved signal stability for enhanced accuracy and reliability.

Q: What makes the Horizon XP quieter than previous models?
A: The Horizon XP features a redesigned weed guard which significantly reduces motor noise on the water, making it more discreet on pressured venues.

Q: Can I use the bait boat in all weather conditions?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP performs well in rain and wind. The boat is waterproof, with a sealed and magnetised battery compartment to keep it watertight. The remote handset is also waterproof, so there’s no need for a cover.

Q: What is the maximum bait capacity?
A: The Horizon XP has a 2kg bait capacity, delivered via a single hopper system.

Q: How does the single hopper system work?
A: The single hopper is operated via the remote control, allowing you to drop bait or rigs over your chosen spot.

Q: Does the Horizon XP include a bait spreader?
A: Yes - a detachable bait spreader is included as standard.

Q: What is the range of the bait spreader?
A: The bait spreader has a range of up to 200 metres, depending on environmental conditions.

Q: How is the bait spreader controlled?
A: The spreader is operated via the remote control. Press button A for a 3-second spread or button B for a 4-second spread.

Q: Is the sonar mount included?
A: Yes - a detachable sonar mount is included. Please note that the sonar device itself is not included.

Q: Is the bait spreader and sonar mount detachable?
A: Yes - both the bait spreader and sonar mount are fully detachable, allowing you to configure the boat to suit your session.

Q: What is the purpose of the internal hopper latch?
A: The Horizon XP includes an internal hopper latch designed to prevent bait or rigs sliding through gaps during transit.


Battery & Power

Q: How long does the battery last on a full charge?
A: The two 19,800mAh lithium-ion batteries provide 3-5 hours of runtime, depending on speed setting and conditions.

Q: Has the battery capacity been improved on the Horizon XP?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP features nearly 30% more battery capacity compared to the original model, allowing for longer sessions on the water.

Q: Can I buy spare batteries separately?
A: Yes - spare batteries are available and are ideal for anglers fishing longer sessions.

Q: How do I charge the battery, and how long does it take?
A: Simply remove the batteries from the boat and plug them into the included chargers. Charging takes 6-8 hours depending on remaining capacity.

Q: Are chargers included with the Horizon XP?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP is supplied with two mains chargers, allowing both batteries to be charged at the same time.

Q: Does the Horizon XP support USB charging?
A: Yes - a USB charger is included for added convenience when charging on the go.

Q: What type of charger do I need?
A: Compatible chargers are included with the bait boat. However, if you're purchasing a spare set of batteries only, a charger is not included and should be bought separately if needed.

Q: What is the maximum control range of the remote?
A: The single-handed remote control has a range of up to 500 metres, depending on the environment and signal interference.

Q: What happens if the boat goes out of range?
A: The Horizon XP has an auto return-to-home function if it loses signal or detects low battery, helping protect your gear.

Q: Does the Horizon XP have an autopilot return-to-home function?
A: Yes. To activate it, select Spot 1 and press the flag icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the remote.

Q: Is a carry bag included with the bait boat?
A: Yes - a durable canvas carry bag comes included as standard.

Q: How heavy is the bait boat with batteries?
A: The bait boat has a total weight of around 3.6kg, including the batteries weighing approximately 630g.

Q: Has the handle been upgraded on the Horizon XP?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP features an upgraded handle designed to reduce overheating when left in direct sunlight.

Q: Is the Horizon XP easy to set up and use straight out of the box?
A: Yes. The Horizon XP is pre-paired and calibrated, and comes with full instructions. We recommend recalibrating the boat at each new fishing location by pressing the rotating arrow icon on the top right of the remote screen.

A: Standard shipping is 2-3 working days within the UK.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: Yes - the Horizon XP includes a 12-month warranty covering electrical failures and non-user-caused part defects.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase may be required to validate any warranty claim. The warranty will not apply to any subsequent owner or user of the product.

Q: Can I return the bait boat if I’m not satisfied?
A: Yes - we offer a 14-day return policy. If you're not satisfied, please contact us first to troubleshoot, as we may be able to resolve your issue quickly.
